Do I need a computer science or coding background?
No. Our beginner-level programs start from the fundamentals, so students from commerce, arts and science backgrounds join every batch. For intermediate and advanced courses, our counsellors will check your current skills and recommend the right starting point.

Courses & training
Which courses do you offer?
We offer job-oriented programs in full-stack web development, Python for data science, Azure cloud and DevOps, React Native mobile apps, cybersecurity fundamentals, UI/UX product design, advanced .NET architecture, and SQL and database engineering. The courses page always shows the current list with duration, level and syllabus.
How long are the courses?
Duration depends on the program and its depth — each course page lists the number of weeks and a module-by-module breakdown. Our counsellors can also suggest a combination of courses that fits your timeline.
Is the training practical or theory-based?
Practical. Every module combines instructor-led sessions with hands-on labs, assignments reviewed by trainers, and a capstone project you can show in interviews and on your portfolio.
What batch timings are available?
We run weekday and weekend batches so that students and working professionals can both attend. Timings vary by course, so please contact admissions for the current schedule.
How big are the batches?
We deliberately keep batches small so trainers can review your code, answer questions and track your progress individually through weekly reviews.

Yes. Career support includes resume and LinkedIn reviews, portfolio and GitHub guidance, technical and HR mock interviews, soft-skills sessions, and internship or job referrals where available. Final selection depends on your skills and interview performance, which is why we focus on making you genuinely job-ready.
Will I work on real projects?
Yes. You build projects throughout the course and finish with a capstone that mirrors the work you would do in a professional team. These projects become the centrepiece of your resume and interviews.
I am an employer. Can I hire students from Groot Institute?
Absolutely. Share your requirement and our placement team will send a shortlist of pre-screened candidates, usually within two business days. There is zero placement fee for partner companies.
